Six Word Fridays - Green

This is a blog hop post to Adrienne's Six Word Fridays - Green.  The idea of this blog is to use only six words in each line you write.

Aquamarine is the color I chose

Photo I took along the Oregon coast

Green are eyes, except when blue,
when wearing certain colors of clothes.
Green is the grass in Spring,
but dry in drought, everybody knows.
Green are the newbies in anything.
That's expected. That's how it goes.
Green are leaves of deciduous trees
except when buried by winter snow.
Smoothies are green with added spinach.
A kid may turn up his nose.
Acres of corn, with tasseled tops
are green and planted in rows.
There are many shades of green.
Some even have fluorescent glows.
Do you have a favorite green?
Aquamarine is the color I chose.
